1000 Calorie Diet Plan


The 1000 calorie diet is pretty tough, but effective and balanced low calorie diet. The main requirement which necessary to observe strictly is duration of the diet. The term of diet may be no more than one week. If for a long time use this diet, it is possible to disrupt the body’s metabolism, which can lead to negative result.

The 1000 calorie diet per day involves three main meals and 2-3 snacks. This diet for weight loss is recommended for people with good health and great strength of will.

Sample 1000 Calorie Diet Plan
There are several variants of the 1000 calorie diet. The menu for each variant provided below.

Variant 1

Breakfast: 1 slice of bread or 2 slices of dietary bread, 2 tablespoons of low-fat cottage cheese or or 1/2 cup of yogurt.
Morning Snack: fruits your choice (apple, pear, peach or orange or 2 plums or 2 apricots).
Lunch: 100 grams of chicken or 150 grams of sea fish, vegetable soup, green vegetable salad, 3 tablespoons of garnish (steamed vegetables).
Afternoon Snack: 1 any fruit, 8 pieces of almonds (2 walnuts).
Dinner: 1 egg, half cup of oatmeal or buckwheat porridge, vegetable salad with cucumber, tomato, lettuce and greens.

Before going to bed you can eat a tablespoon of low fat cottage cheese and a slice of dietary bread.

Variant 2

Breakfast: one boiled egg, a slice of dietary bread, butter (8-10 grams), half a large grapefruit, and one cup of skim or low-fat milk on.
Morning Snack: one cup of green tea or coffee without sugar.
Lunch: 80 grams of cooked meat, 200 grams of steamed vegetables or vegetable soup, green salad.
Afternoon Snack: a slice of dietary bread with of 5 grams of butter, 30 grams of nonfat cottage cheese or cheese, 100 ml of milk.
Dinner: 200 grams of fresh vegetables, 100 grams of unsweetened fruits, leaf lettuce, and 80 grams of boiled lean meat and 100 ml of skim milk

During 1000 calorie diet you should drink at least 10-12 glasses of fluid. As the drink can be consumed green tea, clean water without gas. Also you can drink coffee 1-2 times a day.

In order to avoid negative effects is recommended to complete this diet gradually. At transitional period is necessary to exclude sweetest and fatty foods and gradually increase the caloric content of your ration.
